Your journey with PBC
I provide continuity of care for you. I offer antenatal (pregnancy care), labour and birth care, and postnatal care for 6 weeks following the birth. These appointments will take place mostly or entirely in your home.
Frequency of appointments depends on your personal needs, and we can work on an outline of what this looks like for you at the first appointment.
You can choose to birth at either Fiona Stanley Birth Centre, Fiona Stanley Hospital, or King Edward Memorial.
I have experience collaborating with a variety of multidisciplinary specialists and can co-ordinate this into your care if required.
The Family Birth Centre at Fiona Stanley Hospital provides a homelike environment for women who are low risk and healthy and seeking a non-hospital environment.
Fiona Stanley Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital are tertiary hospitals, in the case of pregnancy complications requiring hospital birth, or if you would like an epidural in your birth. We can discuss your preferences and wishes at the first meeting.
